Bare Necessities Beauty Studio is a home-based salon located in the vale area of Portishead, North Somerset.    (Easily accessible from Clevedon, Nailsea, Pill, Portbury and surrounding areas).  

All treatments are carried out solely by Claire Bishop (SAC and City & Guilds qualified level 2 & 3).

The studio is attached to my home but is self-contained and private, parking is usually available on the driveway.  

All treatments are provided on a 1-2-1 basis and strictly by appointment only.

The salon has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and is a peaceful oasis within a residential area.

Bare Necessities was established in April 2007 and was intiallity based in a small room located within Hot Heads hair salon in the West Hill area of Portishead.  After 2 years the opportunity arose to move to a large treatment room within Waverley Court in the Village Quarter/Marina area of Portishead and soon after the business expanded to 2 treatment rooms.  Due to Covid restrictions in 2020, the decison was made to relocate temporarily to within my home to create a safe and accessible space for clients.....and so the garage was converted to create a peaceful oasis.  Myself and my clients loved it here so much that the decision was made to make it permanent!!

Treatments are still provided for clients living within Waverley Court on Mondays only.
